Budget furniture retailer, Fantastic Furniture, has appointed Eleven Communications as its lead creative agency, without a pitch.The national furniture chain has been without a creative agency since December last year, following its split with The Foundry which it appointed in May 2009. Prior to that Fantastic Furniture handled creative in-house.The win follows the appoint- ment of the national furniture chain’s new general manager of marketing, Brent Allan, in July after Deen O'Brien left in March.The win sees Eleven expand its relationship with Fantastic Holdings Limited, owners of Fantastic Furniture, with it already handling creative for its Original Mattress Factory brand. It picked up the OMF account in August this year.
Allan said the appointment is a great fit for the company. “Eleven is a lean and creatively- focused business with a great reputation in retail,” he said. “They have already proven themselves on our Original Mattress Factory business and we are expecting big things from them on Fantastic.”
Eleven’s first creative work will be a new TV campaign for Fantastic’s Summer Sale which will launch post Christmas.Cut Above Media handled media buying for Fantastic Furniture.
